SHAW’S INDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFORTS:

SHAW’S OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFORTS:
- Shaw is the largest recycler of post-consumer carpet in the world.
- Shaw’s waste-to-energy facility converts 18,000 tons of carpet and wood waste to energy annually, saving more than 2.5 million gallons of fuel oil
- Shaw’s is current building a second waste-to-energy facility, named Re2E
- Shaw’s corporate goal is to reduce landfill waste by 90 percent by year-end 2011
